Countries and currencies
ADDRESS_COUNTRY: 2-letter ISO country code (recommended). For example, FR for France or AU for Australia.
You can also use the 3-letter ISO code (FRA) or the country name in English or French (France, Germany, Allemagne). If the country isn't recognized, the buyer is still imported without a country. The line appears in the import errors with the note "country dropped, buyer kept", so you can correct it.
ADDRESS_STATE: only for buyers located in the United States or Canada. For example CA for California, QC for Quebec.
CURRENCY: ISO 3-letter code. For example EUR, USD, GBP.
Dates
INV_DATE, DUE_DATE and CLEARING_DATE accept the follwoing formats:
YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2023-05-15
DD/MM/YYYY, for example 15/05/2023
dd.MM.yyyy, for example 15.05.2023
DUE_DATE is mandatory for invoices and bills of exchange.
Amounts
Accepted formats: 1500 or 1812.59 or 1812,59 or 1 812,59 or 57,802.75.
Negative amounts: use a leading minus sign: -100.
⚠️ Do not use a thousands separator without decimals (1,500 is read as 1.5), nor the 1.234,56 format. When possible, prefer a plain number with a dot as decimal separator (1812.59).
AMOUNT: total amount of the item including VAT, in the currency of the document.
BALANCE: amount still due on the item. Repeat the AMOUNT value if you do not have any partial payments.
PAYMENT_TERMS: number of days, for example 30, 60 or 90. Mandatory if you can't integrate the DUE_DATE.
CREDIT_LIMIT_AMOUNT: Amounts must be specified in multiples of 1,000.
delegated insurance (Coface, Atradius, etc.): credit limit granted by the insurer. Not needed if your insurer is connected to Afakto.
internal insurance (the factor is the insurer): amount to request from the factor, in the transaction currency, to cover the buyer's outstanding.
